Description

NucleoProtect RNA stabilization solution allows for convenient long-term storage of animal cell and tissue samples for subsequent RNA isolation. NucleoProtect RNA is designed to permeate mammalian cells and tissues up to 5 mm in diameter and protect RNA from degradation prior to sample processing. Samples can be preserved at 4C for up to one month or at or below 20C for longer periods. NucleoProtect RNA is compatible with diverse downstream RNA purification methods, including NucleoSpin RNA kits, and provides comparable performance to alternative RNA stabilization reagents such as RNAlater. Following storage in NucleoProtect RNA, high-quality RNA with RIN values of 9 or 10 can be obtained from mammalian tissues and cells, respectively.
