Nystose is a tetrasaccharide with two fructose molecules linked via beta 1?2 bonds to the fructosyl moiety of sucrose. Nystose exhibits prebiotic, immunomodulatory, and metabolism regulating activities. Nystose promotes the bone mineralization by activating the Wnt/?-catenin signaling pathway.
