OM137 is an aurora kinase inhibitor, with an IC50 of 21.7 ?M Aurora A kinase and 2.4 ?M Aurora B kinase . OM137 also inhibits Cdk1/cyclinB and Cdk5/p25 with an approximate IC50 of 20 ?M. OM137 reduces spindle checkpoint-signaling proteins Mad2 and BubR1 at the kinetochores of chromosomes.
