Parafilm A M Laboratory Sealing Film has excellent resistance to air, other gases, alcohol, common acids, and moderately concentrated alkalies. Without rupturing, Parafilm A M Laboratory Sealing Film may be folded and twisted around a sharp surface. At 21A C 70A F , Parafilm A M Laboratory Sealing Film can stretch up to 200 % and return partially to its original size while at 82A to 93A C 180A to 200A F , it softens enough to make an adhesive bond between papers, cloths, leathers, and other soft materials. Parafilm A M Laboratory Sealing Film isA 0.127 mm thick, 4 inches wide and 125 feet long, and supplied in a dispenser carton interwound with paper to prevent self-adhering.
