pLVX-mCherry-Actin Vector

Description

This lentiviral expression vector encodes human beta-actin fused to mCherry, an extremely bright red fluorescent protein. pLVX-mCherry-Actin constitutively expresses the mCherry-Actin fusion protein fromPCMV IEwhen transduced into target cells. The mCherry-Actin fusion protein is incorporated into actin filaments, and allows for visualization of actin-containing subcellular structures in live cells as well as fixed cells. pLVX-mCherry-Actin is not designed to be used as a cloning vector. To package the vector into high-titer, replication-incompetent lentiviral particles, we recommend using Lenti-XPackaging Single Shots Cat. No. 632176 and the Lenti-X 293T Cell Line Cat. No. 632180 . The resulting lentivirus can then be used to transduce virtually any mammalian cell type. Our products are to be used forResearch Use Only.
