Description

Pseudomonas Agar F is a very selective and specialized medium designed for the promotion of fluorescein (pyoverdin) production, a fluorescent pigment secreted by Pseudomonas species with a specific emphasis on Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This ?-irradiated, triple pack, ready-to-use format guarantees higher sterility and convenience, which makes it perfect for high-accuracy microbial test environments. Formulated according to the Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) and following the formulation of King et al., this medium is particularly suggested for microbial limit testing, as described in several pharmacopoeial standards such as USP.
