Description
Pyrene13C16 is the labeled analogue of Pyrene P849000 . Pyrene occurs in coal tar. Also obtained by the destructive hydrogenation of hard coal. Found in wastewater in aquatic environments, and possesses genotoxic characteristics relating to estrogenic/androgenic, antiestrogenic and antiandrogenic activity. This compound is a contaminant of emerging concern CECs .
