Background:Neuronal cell adhesion molecule(NRCAM) is a single-pass type I membrane protein ,containing 5 fibronectin type-III domains and 6 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains.It belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
