Description

ROCK Inhibitor Y-27632 is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of Rho-associated coiled-coil containing protein kinase ROCK . It is commonly used in cell culture to promote cell survival, enhance cell proliferation, and maintain the undifferentiated state in various cell types, particularly in stem cell research and tissue engineering applications. Y-27632 is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of ROCK-I and ROCK-II. It also prevents apoptosis induced by isolation in mouse prostate stem or progenitor cells.
