Description

abms Safe-Red is a safe, high-performance DNA gel stain that can replace ethidium bromide in agarose gel electrophoresis. This non-toxic EtBr alternative eliminates the contamination risks to glassware, gel apparatus and the environment while offering sensitive and reliable nucleic acid staining & visualization. Features: Easy to Use: Compatible with both UV and blue light. Safe: Non-carcinogenic. Sensitive: Detect as little as 0.6-1 ng of DNA per gel band with no background fluorecence. Superior: Compatible with downstream applications such as cloning and sequencing. Convenient: 6X Safe-Red loading dye is mixed directly with samples and immediately loaded onto an unstained gel. Two inert tracking dyes allow for easy monitoring of gel migration.
