HADH mutation verified by DNA sequencing SCHAD protein knockout verified by Western Blotting Using CRISPR-Cas9, a knockout of the Short-chain 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase SCHAD was established in human embryonic kidney cells HEK293 to produce the SCHAD Stable Knockout HEK293 cell line G2Af7 . Successful SCHAD knockout was evaluated by western blotting. Since these cells are devoid of endogenous SCHAD expression they are useful in a wide variety of applications for scientific research.
