Human Caucasian colon adenocarcinoma cell line LS 180 was transfected with reporter plasmid VDREI3SV40-pNL2.1 Nluc/Hygro to generate Stable VDRE-I CYP24A1 Expressing LS180 Cell Line. Stable VDRE-I CYP24A1 Expressing LS180 Cell Line allows for measurement of Vitamin D receptor VDR transcriptional activity. This cell line can be used to profile VDR transcriptional activity in response to analogues of vitamin D, and intermediates in vitamin D2 and vitamin D3 metabolic pathways.
