Sulphamic acid by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known as amidosulfonic acid, this organic compound is an intermediate between sulphuric acid, and sulphamide. The reagent is available as a powder which is soluble in water. It has a melting point of 205 C. Sulphamic acid can be obtained by treating urea with a mixture of sulfur trioxide and sulphuric acid (or oleum). While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
