Description
RNA extraction involves cell lysis, separation of RNA from proteins, DNA and other cell debris and precipitation of RNA. As outlined, to prepare total RNA from bacterial cells are lysed using Solution-I (RNA extraction solution) and also solubilize their components and denature endogenous RNase simultaneously, separate the RNA using Solution-II & III which contains Phenol chloroform (RNA present in the aqueous phase) and precipitate the RNA using isopropyl alcohol.
