Wanklyns soap solution by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. It is available as a clear, colourless liquid which is soluble in water. It has a boiling point of 78 C. This solution is an ethanolic soap solution with a 1 degree of hardness on the Wanklyn scale, i.e. 1 cm3 is equivalent to 1 mg calcium carbonate (CaCO3). For best performance it is advised to store the reagent in a cool and dry place and use before expiry.
