Zebrafish NIS Stable Expressing HeLa Cell Line

Description

HeLa-H1 cells transduced with lentiviruses carrying zebrafish NIS cDNA, N-terminally tagged with a HA tag. The NIS construct was cloned into a customized pHR-SFFV-HA-PGK-PURO lentiviral transfer vector, with an HA tag inserted immediately after the start codon N-terminally . As NIS lacks a native leader sequence, this placement preserves the integrity and functionality of the expressed protein. Note: NIS is a transmembrane glycoprotein, and like many surface-expressed proteins, it can be sensitive to enzymatic digestion, particularly by trypsin.
