Description
Gibco Zeocin Selection Antibiotic is a formulation of phleomycin D1, a glycopeptide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces verticillus. It acts by binding to and cleaving DNA, leading to cell death, and is used for selection of of mammalian, insect, yeast, bacterial, and plant cell cultures.
